Cangjie is a new programming language developed at Huawei for mobile application development on HarmonyOS. In this talk we will introduce the overall design of Cangjie, in particular the support of effect handlers and its applications. We also introduce some of the key challenges the Cangjie group has been working on, which may benefit from further collaboration with the research community.
